Brain Imaging core

The goal of the Brain Imaging Core of the UCLA General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is to provide access to the full gamut of human brain imaging and analysis methods for clinical neuroscientists at UCLA as well as regionally in Southern California. The UCLA Brain Mapping Center, along with the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging, provide state-of-the-art facilities including 3.0 and 4.7 T MRI, PET imaging with a dedicated medical cyclotron, transcranial magnetic stimulation, optical intrinsic signal imaging, postmortem digital human neuroanatomy and supercomputer-based analysis. These facilities are supported by a faculty with a wide range of expertise in these methods as well as the computational, modeling, storage and data visualization capabilities required to perform brain imaging for clinical protocols.
